Formerly writing as Nia Simms, Nia transitioned her mission into the "Why Not Me? Self Love Literacy Initiative" to address the critical need for representation in early childhood education.
Her book, "Why Not Me?", serves as more than just a story—it is a tool for transformation, helping Kindergarteners and 1st Graders see the beauty in their own skin and the limitless potential within their hearts.
